We have a neighbor who does not like the squirrels that are in our trees. He thinks that they are a problem, but I tell him all the time that we are encroaching on their space. I do not think that it would be good to call bird control in Monmouth County NJ like the neighbor wants to because I do not think that it would allow us a lot of options. I think that they work with birds only and I did not want to waste a call and have someone come out that was not able to serve us. I was hoping that some of my friends would be able to go and use the different ladders that I had to take out the nests with the babies in them because I would like them to grow in my trees, but the thing is that the company that came out told my neighbor that he would not be able to do anything about them.
Leaving animals in their natural habitat is the right thing to do and I do not think that there are a lot of people that would actually want ot try to relocate squirrels. I think that same thing would be said for birds but I do know that there are a lot of exceptions to this rule. Where my parents live on the shoreline in Connecticut, they have a lot of parrots that are huge. These parrots are considered endangered so nobody is allowed to touch them or their nests but the people that go and have to take down the nests when they are up high on the electric lines say that they are very peaceful and they do not like doing anything that might hurt or destroy the nests and the babies.
